"I fucked up Iraq, so now I have to fuck it up even worse"

Enough is enough. America, I have some disturbing news for you, that you may not like to hear, but damnit, it's going to save you from yourself.

YOU ARE NOT INFALLIBLE.

I'm truely sick of this notion that America can do no wrong. As a pseudo-American, I have the patriotism to stand by the country, but the outside perspective to tell you that the mess in Iraq is your fault. If you hadn't messed with Iran's democratically-elected government in 1953, the terrorists would not be wanting to kill you. Imagine if the Chinese had toppled Eisenhower's government? You'd be pissed. And if they'd given Louisiana to the Vietnamese, and then this new Vietnam had attacked and conquered Texas, and had its eye on Florida? You'd want to kill the bastards.

That's what we've done over there. We've given the crazy people a reason to hate us, and so they do. If we'd just stop giving them reason after reason to hate us, maybe they would stop. And if we stopped meddling with other countries, we might be able to address the problems at home, such as a broken health-care system and education reform. Maybe we might be able to get something done to regain America's rightful place as most powerful and beloved country on Earth. And maybe, just maybe, we might manage to not screw things up this badly ever again.
